MUGSS Positions: Set Manager

The Set Construction Manager has to take the designs created and make them into reality. In MUGSS terms, this often means varying types of flats and possibly a few free standing objects.

You have to be at the majority, if not all, set building sessions, overseeing the crew and ensuring they're doing it safely - and that the set will be safe in the theatre (including flameproofing where necessary). You need to source the materials - arranging with people to have them delivered to the arch - within the budget agreed with the Production Managers. You'll need to work out what needs to be finished when and try to keep everyone on schedule!
