A Par is a type of bubble (bulb), specifically used in a Parcan.

A Parcan is a specific type of lantern that uses a par bulb housed in a cheap metal 'can'. They are generally used in rock and similar musical events, although are useful in theatre for filling in dark spots in the lighting.
