Welcome

Hello one and all,

and a very warm welcome to Manchester and to MUGSS. If you want to be on stage, build set and make costume or just generally have a lot of fun and meet new friends then MUGSS is the society for you.

This year we are focusing on 3 main events. In October we will be putting on a show in 24 hours, in December there is a charity Christmas Concert and in May we have our main show - The Pirates of Penzance.

MUGSS offer the opportunity for you to get as involved as you want to be. We welcome anyone and everyone into our chorus no matter how skilled you are. No experience is necessary. We only audition for our principal roles. We also offer the change to help build set and costumes and for those who don't fancy acting, to crew a full sized show in a professional theatre.

We also offer a large number of social events. We socialise as a society every Thursday night after rehearsal. We also hold a number of parties throughout the year as well as holding Summer and Winter Balls.
