With the set sorted out, final rehearsals could get under way. Here
the chorus are practicing one of their scenes, with the sense of "Oh
my goodness, we open soon!" excitement only enhanced by the long
exposure required by the camera.

Back stage, you can tell that the Yeomen (and carefully concealed
Yeowomen) were raring to go. Just as soon as one of the crew
remembers to paint their pikes and halberds, that is. Quite how Jo
Taylor managed to make all these Yeomen costumes in time is quite
beyond me.....

|
Meanwhile, out on stage, Al (Jack Point - Left) and fellow
principals are going through their paces. Whilst around them the
lighting gets progressively more dark and gloomy.
|
|
Still, Al found time to entertain himself backstage while the
rehearsals carried on. And with an expression like that I'm sure he
managed to entertain the cast while he did it too.
