Music of the Night

By William Lindsay and Emma Ross
Performed at the Summer Ball in 2006.
(Lyrics sung to the tune of Music of the Night)
W means Will; E means Emma

W Night time sharpens
     Mugss come out to play,
     harry's for the first
     then Mia leads the way.
     Freshers and old soaks,
     music and mayhem.

W Floundring, falling,
     stumbling home to bed,
     Got a show to do
oh god will we get through
     Something might go wrong,
we could all miss our cues,
But the crew cant be found cos
     they're in the bloody pub

E They probably just couldnt give a f*ck.....

W So sit back relax and have another beer,
and don't worry so is everybody here,
and don't worry they are way more drunk than you (Will sings scary top note)
Unless you are in the CU.....

W Ian Field stirs
But be careful he'll caress you
Empire! Empire! Sorry I got distracted
E Turn your face away from the lack of clothes on stage,
unless it is the female cleavage...
     I mean chorus

W Just listen to the Music of MUGSS

W Let your mind start a jouney through a strange new world,
G and S will show you things you've never seen
but be careful it may damage you for life

E Oh thank god I've never seen gondalliers

W Floating falling, sweet intoxication

E touch me, trust me
W Emma we're not at the tarts party

W and E Let the night begin
let your darker side give in to the rest of the mugss ball cabaret,
the rest of it is still to come.....

(Emma and Will dance furiously imitating Will and Justin's evil dance in Utopia)

W and E You alone can laugh and make it funny (breath)
Oh help us make the cabaret go quickly.............
