Welcome to MUGSS

We produce a large Gilbert and Sullivan show once a year, as well as a smaller performance too.

As well as performers, we have lots of crew, doing everything from the costuming, to the lighting and the set-building. You don't have to be an actor or a singer to get involved with MUGSS!

MUGSS offer the opportunity for you to get as involved as you want to be. We welcome anyone and everyone into our chorus no matter how skilled you are. No experience is necessary. We only audition for our principal roles. We also offer the change to help build set and costumes and for those who don't fancy acting, to crew a full sized show in a professional theatre.

We also offer a large number of social events. We socialise as a society every Thursday night after rehearsal. We also hold a number of parties throughout the year as well as holding Summer and Winter Balls.
