MUGSS' Third Annual 24-hour Show!
This weekend, MUGSS will rehearse and perform our 24-hour show. Over the course of 24 hours we will rehearse a show, written by our very own Jordan Hulme especially for the event, and then perform it to the paying public. The show has been written in top secret; the only clue we're giving out is that it's a musical that has been constructed around a number of popular music songs. Make of that what you will! To be in the ShowCome to the University of Manchester Students' Union (South Campus) from 6pm on Friday 7th October. The rehearsal and performance both take place in the Council Chambers on the top floor.
Between 6pm and 7pm is the registration time - to make sure you've all paid your membership (just £5 for students) and to help us administrate the rehearsal. At 7pm we will reveal the show to you and get this party started! What you needYou're going to be sleeping over at the Union building and so bring a sleeping bag, blankets and what not. Bring ordinary, everyday clothes for the show. Only one precise requirement this year: Men bring black trousers please! Breakfast will be available on Saturday morning and there will be breaks for lunch and tea/dinner for you to go out and get something to eat - there are many outlets near the Students' Union The Performance! If you can't make it to the 24 hours, why not be in the audience? The performance is at the University of Manchester Students' Union and starts at 19:00 on Saturday 8th October. Student tickets are just £3, so come along for an hour's hilarity for the price of a pint. |
